Ignominious Instagram
After landing a coveted fellowship at Teen Vogue and being assigned to the desk of Editor-in-Chief Elaine Welteroth (played by herself), Zoey (Yara Shahidi) has to resist the urge to document every single second on Instagram. Torn between the real-world affirmation of doing well in her career, and the virtual validation of a verified check on Insta, Zoey and her friends struggle to figure out a healthy relationship to their screens, followers, and feelings.
Grown-ish, a Black-ish spinoff continues its 13 episode season Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Freeform.
