Ben Harper, the 2018 Ella Fitzgerald Award recipient, gave generously of himself and shared intimate stories of love, despair, and redemption at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Harper was accompanied by Charlie Musselwhite, a living Delta blues legend, and harmonica virtuoso, and the duo gave a timeless performance.
