Months in the making, the project was born out of the creative drive of the book’s author/narrator, Brant Menswar. Black Sheep helps readers discover their “Flock of 5” non-negotiable values. These deeply held personal core values Menswar describes as Black Sheep Values® (a black sheep’s wool can not be dyed) serve as a foundation from which to make better decisions. The book integrates a musical score/soundtrack to immerse listeners in the experience.

“I wanted to use music’s powerful ability to get you emotionally involved,” says Menswar. “We have to dig deep to get honest and vulnerable about defining our non-negotiables.”

Menswar approached Greensboro, North Carolina based creative agency, Crobar Creative Leverage with the ambitious idea late last year. Crobar’s founder and executive creative director Todd Kinley shares,

“Working together with Brant to create what he initially described as a “Movie Book” was a thrilling experience for the Crobar team, as this type of project presented a new creative territory for us to tackle. Of course, when you are working with a client such as Brant, you are gifted with an abundance of energy, talent, drive and humor, so in a lot of ways, our job was to simply keep up. Once we were able to come up for air, the final result was breathtaking!”
