Dr. Erez Dayan is giving back to the community through his surgical practice Avance Surgery. The Harvard graduate plastic surgeon will provide reconstructive breast surgery at no cost to patients with no health insurance. This March and April, Dr. Dayan will be screening candidates for the free program. The reconstructive surgeries will be performed throughout the month of May, June, and July. Dr. Dayan’s philosophy is one of holistic approach to health and beauty. For Dr. Dayan offering this free reconstructive breast surgery is aligned with his philosophy. He cares foremost about his patients’ overall health, well-being and about his community.
Criteria to be eligible for the free reconstructive breast surgery
- The patient must not have medical insurance
- The patient must be a resident of Reno, Nevada
- The patient must be over the age of 18
- The free surgery must be reconstructive and not for aesthetic purposes.
- Fees with the hospital’s staff are handled between the patient and the hospital.
Dr. Erez said,”We will look at the patients on a case by case basis by medical records review first to determine eligibility/candidacy.
