Florida woman arrested after shooting at Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Beverly Hills home

Suspect accused of firing multiple rounds at mansion while both artists were inside

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — A Florida woman has been arrested after authorities say she fired multiple shots from an AR-15-style rifle at the Beverly Hills-area home of music artists Rihanna and A$AP Rocky while they were inside the residence.

Los Angeles police responded to a report of gunfire at about 1:21 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2026, in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood, according to a source who spoke with SW Newsmagazine.

Investigators identified the suspect as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, of Orlando, Florida. The woman had been previously arrested for domestic violence.

Authorities allege Ortiz fired between seven and 10 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle while inside a white Tesla parked near the property. Several bullets struck the home’s front gate and exterior walls, according to the source. No injuries were reported.

Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, their three children, and household staff were inside the home at the time of the shooting, the source said.

Officers responding to the scene quickly located Ortiz and took her into custody. Authorities later booked her on suspicion of attempted murder.

A source told SW Newsmagazine that bail for Ortiz has been set at $10.2 million, and she remained in custody as of publication.

Investigators have not determined a motive for the alleged attack, and police have not said whether Ortiz had any prior connection to the artists.

The case is being handled by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division, which often investigates high-profile or complex violent crimes. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from nearby homes and collecting ballistic evidence from the scene as part of the ongoing investigation.

Police have not said how Ortiz got to the area or what led to the shooting.

Representatives for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky did not immediately respond to requests for comment. At the time of publication, SW Newsmagazine had contacted their teams but had not received a response.

Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing. The Los Angeles Police Department encourages anyone with relevant information to contact them.
